Learn the process of making honey during the Asbury Woods Honey Harvest Festival on September 26. The festival is scheduled from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm, at the Asbury Woods Nature Center, in Erie

Members of the Northwest Pennsylvania Beekeepers Association, including Asbury Woods’ Beekeeper, Charlie Schroeck, will be there to demonstrate how to harvest honey from honeycomb in the honey extractor. There will be informative displays, beekeepers to answer questions, and several types of honey made from a variety of flowers for you to sample. There will also be crafts for the kids, an observation bee hive, and honey and cheese pairing samples.
