Styled Country Wed Inspiration in Alberta
JoyFoley Weddings & Styling joins us this morning to share a country wedding-inspired photoshoot shot in the open fields of Tofield, Alberta. Captured by Shandro Photo , I absolutely adore the red cowboy boots, organic arrangement of florals by Dasee Boutique and all the woodsy details. I wish I could get my hands on some of the yummy treats on the sweets table!
Says Stacey of JoyFoley Weddings & Styling: When I initially started designing this shoot it was meant to showcase our country sweets table but as I got deeper and deeper into the design I realized I had a passion for country and wanted to allow it to really shine through. I started with an idea to take two dresses, one model {and one very cute small one} and show how fun and dramatic one theme can be. With the addition of red cowboy boots, an old guitar and a gorgeous bouquet, the shoot took on a life of it’s own. Cory Christopher of Dasee Boutique used a combination of fruit, florals and burlap to bring the necessary drama to our models bouquet and our tablescape centerpiece.
We set out to shoot during late afternoon so we could capture the perfect summer sunset and soft lighting. Shelagh was an absolute natural and wore the dresses like they were made for her. Our tiny model, who happens to be my beautiful daughter, cooperated just enough to snap some sweet moments between the two of them. We shot from 2:00pm – 9:00pm and with the help of my incredible team, our gorgeous models and the perfect setting my visions came to life and were everything I imagined and hoped for.
