Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, easily wins the prize for the cleanest capital city. At least on this blog. Its tarmac is flawless, its water pristine. Even the lamp posts look as though they’ve sprouted up overnight like perky moles in a Disney cartoon.
