Street Art Oman

Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, easily wins the prize for the cleanest capital city. At least on this blog. Its tarmac is flawless, its water pristine. Even the lamp posts look as though they’ve sprouted up overnight like perky moles in a Disney cartoon.

Yet, enough about all that slick urban planning. Oman also has its own version of street art, with the khanjar, or curved dagger, glittering in alleyways as well as on the country’s flag. As part of this week’s Photo Friday – here’s a collection of street art pictures from Muscat, Oman. Enjoy!
