Rimrock Overlook and Rimrock Trail in nearby Warren County
I always loved when my parents would take us to Rimrock. It is still one of my favorite places in the world to visit. This attraction hosts many visitors each year and now is a great time to plan a trip to the Rimrock Overlook. With the pastel colors sprinkled on the trees, the surrounding woodlands looks like an enchanted forest made by Bob Ross or Thomas Kinkade.
This area is found about 9 miles North of the city of Warren and is a great place to find spectacular panoramic views of fall foliage. Located on a rock cliff, the Rimrock Overlook towers over the Kinzua Reservoir. From this vantage point, visitors can view some of the most beautiful autumn colors on display along the hillsides of Warren County. Besides the rock formations and views from above, there is a hiking trail, including a stairway carved in rock, that leads down to the base of the hillside at the beach parking area along Route 59.
