Off the Beaten Path: WPC Summer Guided Hike Series
The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy (WPC) will lead guided hikes within some of their 252.000 acres in Western Pennsylvania this summer. The WPC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the region’s exceptional natural places.
On Friday, June 19, The WPC will begin their Summer Guided Hike Series, during a nearly four hour hike, within their West Branch of French Creek Conservation Area tract. This is one of the Conservancy’s newest additions and is located near Wattsburg,PA. Participants will meet at the trail head, located on the east side of Route 8, about 10 miles south of I-90, and four miles north of Wattsburg. The program begins at 11:00am and is scheduled to end at 2:30pm.
