Modern Halifax Wedding by Applehead Studio Photography
Yesterday we dabbled in a bit of vintage beauty which I know you loved. But today we’re going to take a complete 180 and see a wedding that is a total modern gem by Applehead Studio Photography . No detail of the decor (provided by Update Events ) was left unplanned and it all fit within the contemporary colour scheme of black, white and yellow. The floral pieces are equally jaw-dropping. And if you can’t help but love Arleigh and Jeff’s taste in wedding style, you’ll also enjoy their unconventional wedding songs. Read on because at the end of this post, you’ll learn what their song choices were in addition to the fabulous vendors that made this event a stunner.
Says Arleigh: Well, people always say it but so true- best day of my life. What more could you ask for, all of your good friends and family in one room, for you. We had such a an awesome day- Jeff and I had our “first look” photos in an alley behind the hotel…and we love how they turned out. We had a “girls” (white) and “guys” (black) SUV and cruised around town taking pictures at interesting places.
We were so happy, and so thankful to those were so good to us- particularly Liam our photographer, and also Krista at Felicity Bridal. Avril Mulholland at Update Events is a creative genius and we truly loved our decor!
At the center of the tables were black square vases (my fave!) placed on top of mirrored boxes. The mirrored boxes are absolutely genius, as they help to reflect the light from the candles. Florals included large and small yellow mums.
