Kayak Anglers of Western PA Fishing Tournament, at Presque Isle, May 14
A Kayak Anglers of Western PA fishing tournament is scheduled for May 14, at Presque Isle. The event is part of the Western PA Chapter of Kayak Anglers.Com’s Kayak Fishing Series. The event features kayak fishing in Presque Isle Bay for Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. Register for the tournament at 5:00 pm the day before the tournament or at 5:00 am the morning of, at Field and Stream, in Erie. Check in will be at 5:00 am with launch time set for 6:00 am on May 14.
The event is a catch, photograph, and release tournament. Payouts are based on participation. The typical structure of payout is: 60 percent to first place, 30 percent to second place, and 10 percent to third. The angler with the largest total, measured in inches of fish in his or her best three events, will be crowned “Angler of the Year”. For more information, please visit: kayak fishing series.com
