Kathryn & Ryan wanted a dinner that would highlight the region and the groom’s love of the water. The setting and the menu both reflected that. The wedding was inspired by the knot garden on property, and we wanted the dinner to feel cohesive, but more fresh with crisp whites and greens featuring herbs and ferns. After the rehearsal dinner on the Miles View Terrace, all the guests were invited to a welcome party held a few steps away in the Croquet Lawn, where they were greeted with herbal cocktails and lawn games. The bar menu featured a Lemonade and Sweet Tea Bar with “Pick your own” herbal garnish, Croquet Lawn setting, preppy Summer garden party. The Inn at Perry Cabin by Belmond is renowned for its manicured gardens “and guests mingled and danced into the early hours amongst the colorful flower beds.
