Hawaii Destination Wedding by Bella Carta Studios
Winter’s over…is it over? Well, like the most of you, I’m in dire need of a vacation and this next wedding makes me want to jump on a plane and head to the beautiful beaches of Maui ASAP. Shot by one of our Saskatchewan love list members, Bella Carta Studios , the ever adorable couple, Erin & Scott had a bright and charming wedding with colours that absolutely pop off the screen. The decor, flowers and coordination were by Kara over at Your Aloha Wedding Co.
Says Erin: I chose purple and orange for the colours because when my sister and I were little girls, I was “orange” and she was “purple”. All of my clothes, toys and gifts were orange and hers were purple. Aside from that we kept décor minimal as the Olowalu Plantation House was such a beautiful setting we didn’t need to do anything to accentuate it.
Our invitations said “Share Warm Wishes” – and I tried to keep the “warm wishes” theme throughout the vacation, including handing out Pashmina scarves in the evening as favours as “warm thanks”. Although it was such a beautiful and warm evening no one needed them. Our invitations also featured the string of lights that lit up the dinner table and dance floor that evening.”
