My favorite memory of our big day was our first look. The moment Evan and I first saw each other was so special, it was breathtaking. I am very happy we took our photographer Heather’s advice and had the first look alone, just Evan and I. That one, private moment is something I will cherish forever. The rest of the day was truly incredible. Everyone helped make our day so special, and run so smoothly. We were surrounded by our family and friends together, celebrating in our love. We were so fortunate to have loved ones surround us from all over the world. My sister and her fiancé came all the way from Australia, as well as Evan’s family who travelled all the way from Nova Scotia. Our big day was perfect, as Evan and I begin our lifelong journey as husband and wife.
After spending a year and half planning our wedding, the only words to sum up the way i feel is to express how incredibly fun the entire process was. Whether it be meeting the venue manager to taste our delicious menu options, or getting to know our amazing and super sweet photographer, everyone involved in our wedding process really understood and helped make our vision a reality. Although we worked extremely hard to plan our wedding, I couldn’t have done it without my bridesmaids. Their creativity and assistance with the DIY features of our wedding, helped create a day that represented both Evan and myself. The day was simple beautiful and we enjoyed every moment.
