Deer of the Day, Nov. 19: Girard 10-point
Mike Platz, of Lake City, shot his 10-point with a compound bow Nov. 4 in Girard. The buck weighed 150 pounds when it was field-dressed.
Today is the final day to enter your photo in the NWPA Outdoors Deer of the Month and Year Contest for November. Additional contests are scheduled for December and January, however, with the four finalists vying for Deer of the Year honors in February.
