Wedding Republic: Cash Wedding Registry
I have to admit, when Jason and I were engaged, we really weren’t looking for items for the home. We both had our own stuff and would rather have prefered money to help with saving up for a downpayment on our home. Does that sound familiar?
Wedding Republic is a new cash wedding registry available for both brides/grooms in Canada and the US. It’s an opportunity for your guests to contribute money towards buying items for YOU. How about dinner for two, tickets to a local sports team, cooking lessons, golf lessons…the options are endless. Oh and yes, there’s an option for your guests to put a gift towards the down payment of your home. (If only I knew about this while I was engaged!)
As you can see, guests can leave messages for you just like on a wedding card. Super easy for them to use.
