Soft Pink & Chic Rustic Wedding

I’ve got an unbelievably chic wedding for you today. New to Wedding Obsession is Ampersand Grey who captured this rustic pink & detail filled affair that will undoubtedly inspire you for your own special day. Some of my favorite details include the use of birch stumps to line the wedding aisle & hold yummy treats after the ceremony, the mini wood platforms for the bridesmaids to stand on and the different shades of pink of the bridesmaid dresses. Not to mention, there’s a pretty bride and handsome groom! Enjoy.

What was your inspiration behind your overall wedding decor and colour choices?We both really wanted our wedding to be very ” beautiful yet simple” in terms of color and decor.  We chose venues that were beautiful all on their own, which helped in not needing much added. For our ceremony, we didn’t add very much as the beautiful trees and green grass did the job. The gorgeous arbor that we were married under was built by Jose and decorated by Natalie and her bridal party.  For our reception, again we just wanted things to be simple so all we added were table centerpieces. Pinterest was a great help in finding ways to be creative!

How did you two meet?

We met when I was 15 and Jose was 18, at our high school. It wasn’t until 4 years later seeing each other at a mutual friends party,that we really began pursuing a relationship with each other.

What was your favourite wedding moment?
Natalie’s favorite moment was walking down the isle. I couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful setting for a moment I had always dreamed of.
Jose’s favorite moment was standing beside his new bride while greeting all our loved ones following the ceremony.

Any advice for future brides/grooms-to-be?
Our advice to other brides/ grooms would be to not worry so much about the details of the day its self, rather than focus on strengthening your relationship in preparation for the years of marriage ahead.
