We delight in sharing engagement shoots and featuring the love stories of the cities amazing duos – especially when they showcase a couples personalities in the heart of the district! Stephanie + Ryan chose to do a lifestyle session and invited the talented, Sara Logan , up to capture the moments.
Like many DC couples, Stephanie and Ryan met when their career paths crossed leading up to an election. Now employed in higher education and media sales, respectively, Stephanie and Ryan have now lived in the District for five years. When they are are able to take a break from their fast paced lives, they enjoy cooking, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers + Michigan Wolverines and walking around the city looking at interesting houses and architecture.
“One of my favorite things is to photograph couples where they live and love, so when Stephanie and Ryan asked me to come to DC to shoot their engagement session, I couldn’t be more thrilled. We started with beers at Mad Fox Brewing and ended strolling the side streets of Georgetown. Around each new corner I learned something new about the two of them as a couple, and that’s what I love about lifestyle sessions; it really allows you to meet couples where they are and leave the session, even if it’s your first time meeting, feeling like old friends.” – Sara
