Pink & Natural Inspired Outdoor Wedding
Poofy, pink and totally girly…I am absolutely in love with the bride’s dress of today’s wedding. The bride, Jessilyn is a designer and she made her own wedding dress (Yes, you heard that right!) Captured by Lauren Hannah Photography , Jessilyn and Jesse wanted an outdoor wedding inspired by the outdoors and it’s filled with many lovely DIY details.
Says Jessilyn (the bride): The inspiration was the colour palette and the fact that it was outdoors. I wanted a really natural feel. I made everything and that was another inspiration. I am very crafty and always dreamed of doing it all myself.
Says Lauren: Today I am sharing Jessilyn & Jesse’s Pretty in Pink DIY Backyard Wedding with you. Jessilyn made her own wedding dress and it is breathtaking (and pink!). To really make her look pop she added sparkle and pretty pink details. Add guys in modern suits and the girls in a neutral gowns and you have a stylish wedding! The wedding reception took place in a tent on a friend of the family’s property out in the country so friends and family were able to enjoy the outdoors throughout the evening. The reception had an elegant but intimate feel and included a s’mores bar. The bride made all the decor for the wedding herself.
