The Erie PA Charter Boat Association has invited a panel of Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission officials to appear at a special public meeting Jan. 11 at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. Capt. Steve Small said the group also has invited Sen. Sean Wiley, of Millcreek Township, D-49th Dist., and that a number of other Erie outdoors and conservation groups are expected to be in attendance.

Officials from the Fish and Boat Commission who have been invited are Executive Director John Arway, District 1 Commissioner Ed Masharka, Law Enforcement Supervisor for the Northwest Region Bob Nestor, all Erie County waterways conservation officers and Fisheries Biologist Chuck Murray.

The association especially hopes to address monies generated by the Lake Erie Stamp, but other topics are open for discussion. All questions for the panel of experts must be submitted in writing before the meeting via email to smallprogram@comcast.net. All questions will be addressed; mention which panelist you’d like to have respond to your question.
