DIY Whistler Wedding
I know a lot of you have been aching for some DIY weddings and looks like this next Whistler, BC wedding is perfect for you. Remember my last aubergine and silver inspiration board ? I am absolutely in love with the color aubergine (similar to wine & plum), so it’s such a treat to see Tricia and Garth’s wedding using this amazing color along with white and many natural brown elements. Captured by one of our faves, Tallevi Studios , this wedding was definitely a labour of love. The DIY items all incorporate a mountain motif and pine cones were used throughout. Wedding coordination is by Sea to Sky Celebrations .
The couple (avid skiers!), their families and their friends travelled from all over the US for a fun-filled week of catching up and hanging out in Whistler, BC. The intimate destination wedding of 30 guests was full of laughter and everyone danced the night away. The incredibly talented DIY bride made almost everything herself including the invitations, place cards, menus, custom stone coasters (used as wedding favours) and the ring pillow. The pine cone theme was carried throughout the wedding and even showed up in the bride’s bouquet.
