Assigned Love – Real Wedding of C+A
Can you imagine meeting your forever in law school, on the first day? Well this lucky couple had assigned seats next to each other starting with their first class of the day in law school…you could say, the rest was history, but first:
What was the bride’s first impression? “Nice voice, well-dressed. Why is he always late to class?”
What was the groom’s first impression? “Beautiful smile, and very attentive in class.”
…then the rest was history, after their first official date at Square restaurant in Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA
6 years later, they were engaged!
Alex tricked Candice into flying back to Cambridge for another event and pretended they were meeting a friend at Upstairs on the Square, their first date spot. Suddenly, Alex was on one knee and the bartenders were pouring champagne!
A mix of spring greens, soft blush and creamy white florals made this day glorious. The bride’s bouquet was a mix of garden roses, hydrangea and freesia while the guest tables included some ranunculus, sweet pea and peonies, almost every brides dream flower line-up?! Right!
Bride’s Favorite Wedding Detail: DIY bookmarks with each guest’s name — they did double duty as place cards and wedding favors, and fit the reception’s library setting!
Biggest Surprise of the Wedding:
(1) The wedding coinciding with the peak of cherry blossom season.
(2) How good a dancer Candice’s father was!
