Laser Etched Oak Save-the-Date Magnets
I love, love, love out-of-the-box and totally unique wedding stationery. Bride-to-be Shauna is a designer based in Calgary who designed these rad save-the-dates/magnets for her upcoming wedding. The save-the-dates were laser etched and cut on sheets of 2 mm oak.
Says Shauna: Each one is completely unique from the other because of the grain of wood or how the laser hits them (some are really dark, some are quite light). The wedding will be this summer on a gorgeous old farm in Okotoks (just outside of Calgary). The dinner will be served in the old dairy barn which is a really long skinny barn and the other barn has already been converted into a dance hall where we will have the dance, bar and photobooth. As a designer, I am currently working on the signage – hand-painted signs, marquee signs, and I am having a neon sign made as well.
Her upcoming wedding will be white, gold and mint (goodness, my favourite combination at the moment) with bold graphic patterns such as polka dots and stripes. Shauna really likes the juxtaposition of old barns with bold and modern design.
Shauna designed and ordered custom stamps through Canada post for the envelopes.
