Intimate Outdoor Wedding in Ontario
Set on the family acreage near Fort Erie, Shannon and Steve’s wedding was sweet and intimate. They were inspired by the natural beauty of their surroundings, opting for hand-picked floral centerpieces. Says Meagan Shannon and Steve are high school sweet hearts. They met in 9th grade and they were determined to have a “home” wedding. Shannon’s family lives on a few acres of beautiful land out by the lake in Fort Erie. Their house is surrounded by natural fields and tall trees. Shannon’s dad whipped their yard into the perfect spot for a wedding. It was Shannon’s dream to have a pole tent with high peaks. Shannon wanted to bring the surrounding fields inside her tent. Her centerpieces were “hand-picked” inspired arrangements placed in old family mason jars with the brides last name on them. The entire wedding was full of small personal details. The bride and groom wanted to have a relaxed, intimate feel to their wedding. Even though it was an at-home outdoor wedding, they wanted the wedding to be elegant. Their guests had a great time with almost everyone on the dance floor all night long!
