Golden Globes 2009 Fashion: Ladies
As I mentioned in my previous posts, white seems to be popular this season on the red carpet! Once again, it was ever-so present at the 2009 Golden Globes along with some other bright hues, pretty purples and dark shades. I noticed a lot of fitted bodices with large, puffy gowns. To be honest, I only caught ten minutes of the show because all I really care about is what the celebrities are going to wear. It makes for great inspiration in the fashion, jewelry, hair, and makeup department. Overall, at this year’s Golden Globes, glam was definately in!
My favorite look of the night: Eva Mendez (left) wore a strapless Dior gown with gathered folds at the waist. I love her turqouise and diamond necklace by Van Clef & Arpels..she looks amazing! Also wearing white, Salma Hayek, wore another Dior gown and carried a silver clutch.

Demi Moore wore a peach chiffon gown by Dior (left), while Miley Cyrus wore a beautiful grecian gown by Marchesa.
Actress Olivia Wilde paired her large diamond earrings with a lavendar gown by Reem Acra (bridal gown designer as well!). But it looks like she wasn’t the only one wearing the gown, as Rumer Willis (right), official Miss Golden Globe, wore a similar strapless gown by Reem Acra, but paired with a black jeweled belt.
Anne Hathaway wore an Armani Prive strapless gown with a crystal-studded bustier and skirt of layered gazar. In a similar look, Amy Adams wore a strapless tulle Oscar de la Renta gown with green earrings to match.
And for a punch of color: RED….
Heidi Klum looks amazing, as usual. She always takes a risk and pulls anything off. Another Reem Acra creation in bright red was worn by Eva Longoria.
My misses for the night are Cameron Diaz & Jenna Fisher…it just wasn’t working! I don’t know what happened to Cameron’s hair!
