Classic Small Town Wedding from barebonephoto
Happy Thursday! Meet our next beautiful couple, Natasha and Mark who married on their 10 acre property in the town they grew up in…St.Paul’s, Ontario. Photos are by barebonephoto .
What was your inspiration behind your overall wedding decor and colour choices? Our inspiration was to have an outdoor summer wedding that was casual, yet elegant. We love to have BBQ’s and get together’s throughout the summer, but we wanted this to have a much more sophisticated feeling but still remain comfortable for our over 200 guests. There were several DIY + very personal touches throughout the day. I have forever loved the classic look of black + white. There were so many natural elements around us that I thought it worked. The grass was green, wheat crops surrounded out property and we injected some pops of colour into the bouquets (peach, pink, and white) as well as the centrepieces of blue hydrangea’s.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?
Can I have two favourite moments? Of course it was when we said our vows. However, I had to take several moments throughout the night to take it all in. We had the most amazing food and once the live band started playing the dance floor was packed until the wee hours of the morning…one of the benefits of having it on your own property! We literally had a private concert, and it was a night to remember!
Do you have any advice for other brides-to-be?
I would tell other brides to relax + roll with the punches. I planned the entire wedding myself and in the weeks leading upto the wedding I certainly felt the heat! Not everything is going to be ‘perfect’ and there will be some unforeseen challenges that will come up on the day of…. don’t stress! Enjoy each + every moment because it goes so fast.
