Antler Shed Hunting in NWPA
Shed hunters in NWPA are having more luck finding the shed antlers of white-tailed deer now that the snow has melted. This activity has gained popularity in recent years and serious shed hunters log many hours in the woods. Antler sheds can be used for many purposes including decorations, crafts, and knife handles. Larger sheds can fetch hundreds of dollars or more from collectors. One tip while antler shed hunting is to fan out, making semi circles in areas where another shed is found, in order to find the match.
