Anglers: Get a free ‘thank-you’ coffee April 12
Anglers who show their valid Pennsylvania fishing license April 12 can get a free cup of coffee at participating GetGo convenience stores in northwestern Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission partnered with GetGo to launch its Angler Boater Thank You program . It’s in effect only on the statewide opening day of trout fishing season, April 12.
Free coffee sites in Erie County are the GetGos at 200 Erie St, Edinboro; 9165 Ridge Road, Girard; and, in Erie, 2906 W. 26th St., 4307 Buffalo Road and 2521 W. 12th St.
In Crawford County, visit 18499 Smock Highway, Meadville, and 103 South Perry Hwy, Titusville.
In Mercer County, visit 2385 East State Street, Hermitage, or Tic Toc Food Mart, 4195 East State Street, Hermitage.
As part of the program, officials from the commission also will appear Saturday at Presque Isle State Park’s basin ponds and Oil Creek in Venango County to personally thank anglers for buying licenses.
