Today’s wedding feature is one that embodies sophistication and simplicity: the real wedding of Bryttava and Rob, a couple who met in our very own District through mutual friends. Bryttava and Rob dated for about four years before Rob popped the question in Bryttava’s hometown, San Diego, over Christmas. As the sand crunched between their toes and clear blue water washed up on a San Diego beach, Bryttava said “Yes!”

Bryttava and Rob wed in Anderson House, which was the perfect venue for their intimate wedding. The colors for the wedding were shades of ivory, blush and champagne, setting the tone for elegance. The inspiration for the wedding design came from the couple’s desire to have a natural and classic wedding, and these calming colors satisfied their design inspiration.

The first look between the couple was said to be the bride’s favorite part of the wedding because it calmed her nerves prior to the big event. Rob remarks that his favorite moment in the wedding was “dancing with our family and closest friends – even our friend on a mobility scooter!”
