Bright and Blissful – Real Wedding of M + K
When Maureen and Kyle met through mutual friends at a Labor Day barbeque in 2009, they were unaware that they would be set up on a blind date just a few months later. And when Kyle said he wanted to show Maureen a new card game in June 2013, she did not know that the cards he dealt her would propose one of the most important questions of her life: “Will you marry me?”
About a year after the proposal, Maureen and Kyle’s summer wedding took place in Washington, D.C. Their ceremony occurred at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, and their lively reception happened at the Hotel Monaco. Their wedding colors were as bright as their smiles, with shades of coral, red, and ivory.
Before the wedding, the couple put their love on display and took pictures around some of the most iconic places in D.C., including the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian. Their love for each other can be seen in the way that they smile when they look at each other, and this love was shown throughout their wedding day. Maureen and Kyle’s wedding is the epitome of a summer wedding as it was bright, warm, and filled with sunshine.
