The Welcome Note
Your guests are first greeted by their personalized welcome bags waiting for them upon arrival. Full of yummy treats and fun surprises, it is also important to remember to include a welcome note with details about the wedding weekend. Today we bring you a few reminders of what to include in the welcome note.
1. A Welcome/Thank You note written by bride and groom expressing your excitement and gratitude for the weekend ahead.
2. All venue locations, times and addresses. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding brunch, it is important to make sure your guests know when and where to be.
3. Transportation Schedule. Whether you are providing a shuttle, trolly or bus transportation to and from the weekend’s events, it is best to include all of that information in your welcome note with pick up times and locations, so your guests have no questions.
4. An overall itinerary. Be sure to let everyone in on all of the wedding activities.
5. If there will be down time throughout the weekend, include some of your “must try” favorite restaurants and places to go. For out of town guests, it is great to have a locals perspective!
