Over the past year my colleague Matthew and I had the pleasure of attending quite a few weddings. Surprisingly, many of them had hired a photo booth company and more often than not it was one of the most entertaining aspects of the entire reception. We began to jokingly kick around the idea of how it would be fun to start our own photo booth business, and realized the fact that the photo booth really hadn’t changed much in ages. We began to develop our concept and realized that with a combination of new technology, we could fill a gap that was missing in the photo booth industry.

EventShare’s photo “booths” are extremely different compared to other companies. We have eliminated the walls with our open concept, allowing many more users to fit in every shot. (At previous weddings we noticed frustration when 6 people were crammed into a typical booth and half of their heads were getting cut out of the frame.) Our photo “booths” are also much more engaging and interactive, as our custom software enables users to draw, write on, and apply digital props and filters directly to their photos. Finally, unlike most photo booths, we have embraced the shift to social networking websites by allowing users to not only print, but also upload their photos to Facebook and Twitter directly from the “booth”.

We recommend potential clients check availability with us and book as soon as their wedding date is established. We do our best to accomodate all clients but operate on a first come first serve basis.
