What is the process/timeline for getting a custom made tuxedo?
Check out the overview of our process for weddings . We welcome grooms and groomsmen to come into our showroom for a style and fit consultation, and to pick out fabrics for the big day. We have showrooms in NYC, Washington DC, and Boston — and coming soon to Dallas, Chicago, and the West Coast as well. However, we have customers in nearly every state and have tried and true methods to get great measurements from a distance as well. So don’t fret if the groom or one of your groomsmen is located halfway across the country — or even on the other side of the world! It takes about 4-6 weeks for the garments to be made and shipped. Because we are truly bespoke, we don’t cut the fabrics until we have your exact instructions. Everything is 100% made for you.

What is your favorite piece currently carried at Alton Lane?
This is hard to say because no piece is ever alike! Remember that we’re fully custom, so every piece of clothing is designed by the customer, from fabric selection to cut to custom options. With that said, I am loving the look shown all the way on the right here for post wedding brunch . We’re hearing about a lot of shades of purple and lavender in weddings this spring, and the lightweight linen fabric and light colors are perfect for spring or summer weddings. This look keeps the groom standing out as he bids farewell and says thank you to friends and family – and can carry him into the honeymoon as well!
