How should a couple determine whether or not valet is necessary at their venue?

Valet typically falls into 2 categories, amenity or necessity.  For most non-hotel locations in downtown Washington, valet is a necessity.  Guests can drive directly to the event site as opposed to having to drive a couple of blocks to the nearest parking garage and walking.  For venues in the suburbs, valet falls under the amenity category.  This is a nice touch to leave a lasting first and last impression for your guests.  In either case, valet is a good insurance policy for inclement weather as we provide full-size golf umbrellas for all events.

Who pays for the valet? The bride and groom, or the guests?

Valet is typically a complimentary service for your guests as the valet cost is paid by the hosts of the party.

How far in advance should valet arrangements be made?

We recommend booking valet / transportation services 3 – 6 month in advance of the big day.
