Despite the gloomy weather outside, warmer weather will be here before we know it! That means it’s time to start thinking about spring and summer weddings, and more importantly, how to look great when the temperatures reach triple digits. Michael Andrews Bespoke , one of our favorite menswear designers, offers some advise on looking great despite the heat:
Do you have any advice for grooms in the warm months?
If you’re going to have a more casual wedding, opt for warm weather fabrics like linen or cotton. Also, a half-lined jackets leads to more breathability for the groom. Wear a poplin or linen shirt with your suit. The colors should be light to match the season. If you’re going to have a more formal wedding, try a white dinner jacket with tuxedo pants for a Bond inspired look.

What about guest attire for summer weddings?
The same rules for the groom apply to the guests. Take your cues from the invitation on what to wear.

Any fashion don’ts for men in the summer?
Avoid making things too formal – especially during the day time. A formal outdoor wedding is uncomfortable for you and your attendees. Formal events during the summer should only be held indoors in the evening.
