A local couple who met in high school and reconnected again several years later, Nicole and Phil came to A. Dominick Events with a dream of an elegant DC wedding in a grand venue. Few venues in DC offer a level of magnificence and striking size as the Atrium at the Ronald Reagan Building, it was the perfect fit for this October wedding. With the help of Amaryllis, Drape Kings and Frost Lighting we transformed the large space to feel perfectly intimate for the 140 wedding guests.

With a pallet of reds and oranges Amaryllis created a stunning ceremony set up in Ronald Reagan Building Plaza. After an al fresco cocktail hour featuring hanging lanterns and striking grey and white linens, guests were welcomed into the Regan Building for dinner. Leaf shaped escort cards by Cheree Berry Paper hung from a dramatic tree in the Oculus. Set against black drape and silver and black linens, Amaryllis’ arrangements popped with the colors of the season. The guests danced the night away to the music of Eric Nicolas & One Love and headed home with a bag of the bride’s favorite treat from the Eastern Shore, Fisher’s Popcorn.
