With fall just around the corner I can’t help but get excited about the cooler weather and in turn, gorgeous outdoor ceremonies. For couples hoping to enjoy the weather and beautiful views Woodend Sanctuary is the ideal location.

Woodend Sanctuary sits on 40 wooded acres in Chevy Chase, located not far from the heart of D.C., but the atmosphere unlike anything in Washington. The architectural details including the French doors, columned portico, and stunning staircase all give the space a romantic feel.

Most of the ceremonies at Woodend Sanctuary take place in the picturesque grove, but a gorgeous indoor space with a grand staircase is another great spot. In addition to the scenery, the amenities at Woodend are top notch. In fact, the tent is included in the rental- which creates a hassle free solution for those who want to use the outdoor spot.

Couples must chose from one of the ten caterers recommended by Woodend, but are welcome to bring in any other vendors for additional services.
