Life in the Boat is a little slow these days
Of course, everyone warned me about mud season and how quiet it is, but i didn’t really believe them…..and yes, it is pretty mellow here! I came back from Denver last weekend and have enjoyed kicking around Steamboat in my new car. I also started my new job as a waitress at Cuginos, which has been pretty cool….of course it will be way better once people come back here and I can actually make some money!
I’ve been doing pretty good with my tri-training the last few weeks too, since I realized that I needed to kick it into gear! I am absolutely terrified that I will suck and since I hate to be bad at anything, I can’t allow that to happen! Of course we’ll have to see…maybe I’ll suck wind and drown in the lake. That could be a good story!
Nothing else new! Headed back down to Denver tomorrow night to get my windshield fixed and to pick the boys up from the airport and then back on up here….which is good cause I am pretty sick of making that drive right about now!! 🙂
