December Steelhead on Upper Walnut
Steelhead continue to be caught from Lake Erie tributaries. This young male struck a lightly colored egg pattern on Friday. I had four hook-ups in about an hour on the water landing 2 fish. Dozens of steelhead were holding within the flowing waters between pools on upper Walnut Creek. There was light angler pressure and the fish were active.
