Just chilling
So nice to be relaxing now! We’ve been hanging out with Guy and Dee and it’s definitely been nice to be off of the bike. Guy took us to the Naval Air Museum yesterday, so that was kinda cool. I got to play in all sorts of planes and push buttons and stuff, so of course, I had a good time. We also saw the IMAX “Operation Red Flag” (can you tell we are in a military town??!) which was definitely interesting. Camera angles and stuff were sweet, but I could’ve passed on all of the military propaganda. Still cool though
Four of us just hung out last night, had a few beers, and made a really good dinner–steak and salad and rice pilaf and wine. May not be impressive to y’all, but after eating all the fried diner food for the past month, it was heavenly!
Looks like we might be going to the beach today, so I’m super excited! I haven’t been to the ocean in awhile, so it’ll be fun. ‘Course, I have the most ridiculous tan lines ever, so I’m sure I’ll be on the end of a lot of jokes, but whatever….at least I get to play in the water! Just hope I don’t get eaten by a shark or a mama jelly fish or something! (Yes, I know jelly fish don’t eat people but Guy said that it is jelly fish season so the are everywhere. You never know!)
